The El Dorado Kitchenette is the El Dorado’s newest addition. Led by Pastry Chef Octavio Alcantar, formally of the French Laundry and Bouchon Bakery, El Dorado Kitchenette opened June 2007.

Located in the El Dorado Hotel, in the heart of downtown Sonoma, El Dorado Kitchenette highlights the El Dorado Kitchen's and Octavio's five star culinary expertise, including fresh homemade pastries, gourmet sandwiches, organic salads, espresso drinks, cold beverages, wine and beer and house-made soft serve ice cream, complete with a variety of decadent toppings.

El Dorado Kitchenette encourages people to enjoy breakfast or lunch by the fireplace in the El Dorado Hotel's relaxing lounge or on the Sonoma Plaza green. There is also limited seating inside the café.

Live music is back in the Fireplace Lounge until Spring. Check out our current calendars for a list of musicians performing this season: February. "Live Music in the Kitchenette" features free live music fireside. Enjoy cocktail service providing wines by the glass, local beers, espresso, pastries and an artisanal bar menu 6:30pm – 8:30pm Fridays & Saturdays. Seating is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

El Dorado Kitchenette is open from 7am to 5pm Sunday through Thursday and 7am to 9pm Friday and Saturday.
